The Way I Feel Inside

I rarely go into detail about such a sloppy subject but Hedi Slimane, doing these photos, making me more homesick than i knew i could be makes it hard not to want to.

I won't.

As the zombies say, I'll keep tryn to hide the way i feel inside.

I'm usually not a fan of post-shoot artsy augmentation even though it's where i was when i first started to shoot and art direct (like this for example). I suppose i just grew out of it and into an appreciation for pared-down trueism. But, i really dig these funky photos shot by Charlie Engman for 01 magazine.

Perfecto Installment #2

okey a sad attempt to site work but better than nothing:

the first image is Hanneli Mustaparta in Acne, the second is a shot by Hedi Slimane, unknown model, unknown maker, the rest are...you guest it: unknown.

OBJECT

Finally got to check out mr. Charlie Schuck's (you may recall charlie from previous posts) new Belltown digs today while roaming around early morning style. Must say, totally in love with the space. Charlie knows how to pick em ("em" being spaces, objects, collaborators...he seems to pick most things well).

These (above photos) are just a few pieces out of ton that will make your eyes wide. Its like a toy shop for adults with refined taste and deep pockets (those 2 generally go hand in hand, except in my case which is to say that i only have the taste part). There are however, a handful of one-of-kinds and simply breath taking art/design objects that are in the working girls price range.

I like boy stuff #2

I actually should have called this post "I like girly boy stuff", because as you can see if i were a boy I'd do it up botanical style. Which in its self is interesting since as a girl i have but 1 floral top in my wardrobe, such has been the case for some years now.

Theres just something about florals and the y chromosome that make a sweet pair.

perfecto installment #1

im going to try and limit cigarette appearances to 1 per post. its ganna be tough. after all perfectos and cigarettes are like peanut-butter and jelly.

due lack of organization and an exceedingly high volume of visual consumption i do not have the sources of these images. if you know who took the photos, see your self in a photo, or spot a jacket that you own, please, shed some light on the origins.

I know confetti system has been around for a while but only recently did i check out the site. tremendously digging the art direction, site functionality, photos, logo type and message.

so, make something special.
